Bendu Terms of Use

1. Your Creative Journey with Bendu

Bendu is built for anyone who wants to capture life one frame at a time. You don't need to create an account or log in to start using the app – just open it up and start creating. We believe creativity should be accessible and uncomplicated, so we've removed unnecessary barriers between you and your memories.

When you use Bendu, you can capture or import one photo each day, shape it with film-inspired overlays, browse artistic presets, and organize your finished photos on your flowing timeline ribbon. All your creative work stays on your device – we don't store your photos on our servers, and they never appear in public social feeds unless you choose to export them and share them elsewhere.

You are welcome to use Bendu for personal, non-commercial creative projects. We've poured care into building this space for your memories, and we ask that you use it in the same spirit.

2. Your Photos, Your Stories

All the photos you create with Bendu remain yours. We don't claim any ownership over your creative work – it's your personal visual story, after all.

Since all your photos stay on your device, you're responsible for keeping them safe and backed up. We encourage you to maintain your own backups of your favorite memories – that way, you'll always have them no matter what happens with your device.

When you import photos into Bendu, you confirm that you have the right to use those photos, and that they don't infringe on anyone else's copyright or privacy.

3. Film Credits Premium Unlocks

Bendu offers premium looks and additional features through Film Credits. When you unlock premium content, you get access to those extra creative tools for as long as you use the app on your device.

Premium content is licensed to you for your personal use within Bendu. You can't extract or redistribute the presets, overlays, or other premium design elements outside of the app.

We're constantly working on adding new premium looks, and we can't promise that every single look will always be available forever – but we'll never take away what you've already unlocked.

4. Our Commitment to You

We're dedicated to keeping Bendu working smoothly for your creative journey. We'll continue to refine the app, add new features, and fix issues as they come up. That said, we build Bendu as it is, and we're always working to make it better.

Bendu works best on modern devices, but we can't guarantee that it will work perfectly on every piece of hardware or software out there. We'll do our best to support as many devices as possible, though.

We may update Bendu from time to time to add new features, improve existing ones, or adapt to new operating systems. These updates will follow the same spirit of these terms, unless we say otherwise.

5. Using Bendu Respectfully

When you use Bendu, we ask that you don't:

• Modify, reverse-engineer, or try to extract the source code of the app
• Use Bendu for any illegal activities or harmful content
• Share premium content you've unlocked with others who haven't purchased it
• Interfere with the app's functionality or try to access it through unauthorized means

Bendu is meant to be a peaceful space for creativity. By using it, you agree to keep that spirit alive and not disrupt the experience for anyone else (though since everything stays on your device, there's not much disrupting you can do anyway!).

6. Privacy First

Your privacy is at the core of how we designed Bendu. None of your photos leave your device unless you explicitly export them and share them yourself. We don't collect your personal photos, we don't track your creative process, and we don't share anything with third parties.

7. Just a Few Final Notes

We can update these terms from time to time if we make big changes to how Bendu works. If we do, we'll let you know through the app. Your continued use of Bendu after changes means you accept the new terms.

If you stop using Bendu, these terms automatically stop applying to you. You can delete the app from your device at any time, for any reason.

These terms create an understanding between you and the creators of Bendu. They're meant to be a friendly guide to how we work together, not a rigid rulebook.
